This paper has focused on the relationship between women's literacy rate, sex ratio, and women work participation. This paper focuses on gender discrimination found in Punjab. A Granger-causality analysis was carried out in order to assess whether there is any potential predictability power of one indicator for the other. The conclusion that can be drawn from the present study is that with an increase in women's literacy rate, there has been no significant impact on improvement in the sex ratio and women's work participation in Punjab.Downloads
